Black Jack's Last Mission

Joseph H. Moore

Born in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania

Joining the United States Army Air Force, he was assigned to the Airways Control Squadron and later 43rd Bombardment Group, 63rd Bombardment Squadron.

After the July 11, 1943 ditching of "Black Jack", he was awarded the Silver Star for gallantry in action.

Moore died on September 8, 1994 in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania.
